Job summary

Acceldata is seeking a skilled System Administrator to manage and maintain our growing IT infrastructure in Bengaluru. You will ensure security, scalability and high availability, enabling teams to operate smoothly across platforms.

You will oversee networks, servers, and related hardware, implement security protocols, manage access controls, and collaborate with vendors. Strong Linux/Windows admin, cloud exposure, and scripting are essential.

Qualifications

• End-user support for Mac/Windows within the organisation.
• Exposure to Okta, G Suite administration and Active Directory.
• 3–6 years of Experience.
• Exposure to MDM tools like Cisco Meraki, Hexnode.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux system administration.
• Expertise in networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN).
• Knowledge of security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, access controls, encryption).
• Familiarity with virtualisation technologies such as VMware or Hyper‑V.
• Scripting skills in PowerShell and/or Bash for automation.
• Experience with monitoring tools and performance optimisation.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

About The Role

• Experience working in fast‑paced, multi-location, cloud‑first organisations and high-availability production environments.

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• IT certifications (AWS SysOps, Azure Admin, RHCE, etc.) are a plus.
• CompTIA Server+, Network+, Security+
• AWS/Azure Cloud Certifications
• ITIL, CISSP (for security-focused roles)

This role requires to be on rotational shifts:

• 07:00 to 16:00
• 15:00 to 00:00
• 23:00 to 07:00
