Group Functions Technology is a Global Function encompassing platforms that are vital to the bank’s operation. Our mission is to “Enable, Protect and Delight” HSBC’s global businesses.
Within Group Functions Technology, Risk and Compliance Technology is building a real-time decisioning capability that can evaluate transaction events, coordinate multiple detection techniques and select the right preventative action within strict sub‑second latency budgets. Sitting above HSBCs real-time data feeds, the platform will orchestrate rules, machine‑learning models, graph capabilities, foundation models and approved bounded agent functions across real‑time, near‑real‑time and asynchronous execution tiers.
