Job summary

Growth For Impact is seeking a sustainability certification lead to drive LEED, WELL, Estidama, and AlSa'fat initiatives across complex projects in Bengaluru. You will coordinate with design teams, manage LCA workflows, and develop documentation to meet certification credits and client requirements.

You will analyze energy modelling results, prepare sustainability plans and simulations, and communicate findings through narratives and client presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in engineering, architecture, built environment, or related field.
• LEED Accredited Professional.
• 6–12 years in building certification, LCA/embodied carbon for AEC/infrastructure projects.
• Experience developing sustainability concepts for master-planning projects.
• Ability to interpret energy modelling results.
• Excellent English communication with PowerPoint/Word proficiency.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, proactive.

Job description

ROLE

• Convey sustainability certification program and client requirements to project teams, ensuring alignment and tracking progress throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead and manage the certification process for LEED, WELL, Estidama, and AlSa'fat, including preparation and submission of required documentation.
• Manage LCA-focused sustainability projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality outputs.
• Collaborate with design disciplines to define and embed sustainability interventions that meet certification credits and drive sustainable design.
• Produce narrative documentation and technical notes to support sustainability projects and client presentations.
• Review design drawings, material requirements, specifications, and contractual sustainability documents.
• Prepare sustainability plans, guidelines, procedures, reporting and monitoring trackers, energy simulations, and related reports.
• Conduct directed and individual research into architectural materials, technology, building services systems, green building and urban policy, and social/human comfort issues.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Built Environment, or related field.
• LEED Accredited Professional.
• 6-12years of experience in building certification, LCA/embodied carbon for AEC/infrastructure projects.
• Experience developing and implementing sustainability concepts for master-planning projects.
• Ability to interpret energy modelling results.
• Strong liaison skills with design disciplines and ability to manage relationships across all project phases.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with effective planning to meet deadlines.
• Experience managing sustainability aspects of complex design and construction projects, including Net-Zero carbon initiatives.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and related software for presentations and reports.
• Self-motivated, dedicated, proactive, and detail-oriented.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, InDesign, AutoCAD, Rhino, and Grasshopper.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Accreditations: Estidama PQP, GSAS CGP, Mostadam AP, SITES AP.
• Technical skills: proficient in architectural modeling software such as Revit, SketchUp, and Rhino.
• Sustainability expertise: experienced in conducting LCAs using E-tool or similar platforms.
• LEED commissioning experience, preferably with relevant professional credentials.
