Job summary

Quantiphi, Inc. in Thiruvananthapuram is seeking an experienced Lead Support Engineer to own reliability and scalability of healthcare AI platforms. You will guide a team, set SRE practices, and act as the primary escalation point for multi-geography projects.

You will architect IaC with Terraform/CloudFormation, design monitoring and CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with Data/ML Engineering teams to ensure high availability.

Qualifications

• 8-15 years of engineering experience or equivalent.
• Experience leading SRE teams and incident management.
• Proficiency in Python (Flask/Django/FastAPI) or Java (Spring Boot).
• Experience with cloud platforms AWS/GCP and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong debugging, performance tuning, and memory leak analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor senior and junior support engineers; conduct code reviews and manage 24/7 shift rotations.
• Define Support Strategy and implement SRE best practices (SLOs, SLIs, error budgets).
• Act as Major Incident Manager and primary escalation point; lead war rooms, RCAs, and corrective actions.
• Architect and enforce IaC standards using Terraform/CloudFormation; design monitoring, logging, and alerting for proactive issue detection.
• Ensure zero-downtime releases, automated rollbacks, and mature CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and engineering teams to improve system supportability and maintainability.
• Introduce cloud-native tools to enhance automation and operational efficiency.

You will move beyond day-to-day ticket resolution to define the Support Strategy, focusing on Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.You will lead a team of engineers, guiding them through complex incident resolutions, orchestrating cloud automation, and bridging the gap between Data Engineering, ML Engineering, and Operations.
