Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Senior Supply Chain & WMS Solution Architect to lead transformational programs for PAN India, focusing on warehouse operations, WMS implementations, and AI/ML-driven optimization. The role requires 11+ years of experience and expertise in major WMS platforms.

You will oversee design, client workshops, presales support, and integration with ERP and robotics within diverse industries. This is a pan-India opportunity with strategic impact across locations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain Consulting, Warehouse Operations, or WMS implementations.
• Strong expertise in at least one enterprise WMS platform: Blue Yonder, Manhattan, SAP EWM, Oracle WMS, or Körber.
• Deep understanding of warehouse processes, inventory management, labor optimization, slotting, and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for end-to-end warehouse operations including inbound, inventory, fulfillment, shipping, and returns.
• Lead WMS implementation, upgrade, optimization, and transformation programs.
• Design solutions on platforms such as Blue Yonder, Manhattan, SAP EWM, Oracle WMS, Körber.
• Conduct client workshops, requirement gathering, solution assessments, and stakeholder presentations.
• Support presales activities including RFP/RFI responses, solution design, and proposal development.
• Apply DES and AI/ML techniques for warehouse optimization, forecasting, labor planning, and process improvement.
• Drive integration of WMS with ERP, TMS, WCS, robotics, and warehouse automation systems.

Senior Supply Chain & WMS Solution Architect

Your Role

Lead Supply Chain and Warehouse Management System (WMS) transformation programs, acting as a trusted advisor for warehouse operations, solution architecture, WMS implementations, AI-driven optimization, and supply chain modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the SME for end-to-end warehouse operations including inbound, inventory, fulfillment, shipping, and returns.
• Lead WMS implementation, upgrade, optimization, and transformation programs.
• Design solutions on platforms such as Blue Yonder, Manhattan, SAP EWM, Oracle WMS, or Körber.
• Conduct client workshops, requirement gathering, solution assessments, and stakeholder presentations.
• Support presales activities including RFP/RFI responses, solution design, and proposal development.
• Apply Discrete Event Simulation (DES) and AI/ML techniques for warehouse optimization, forecasting, labor planning, and process improvement.
• Drive integration of WMS with ERP, TMS, WCS, robotics, and warehouse automation systems.
• Build reusable accelerators, best practices, and supply chain solution frameworks.

Your Profile

• 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain Consulting, Warehouse Operations, or WMS implementations.
• Strong expertise in at least one enterprise WMS platform: Blue Yonder, Manhattan, SAP EWM, Oracle WMS, or Körber.
• Deep understanding of warehouse processes, inventory management, labor optimization, slotting, and operational KPIs.
• Experience with Discrete Event Simulation (DES) and AI/ML applications in supply chain and warehouse management.
• Strong client-facing, consulting, stakeholder management, and workshop facilitation skills.
• Experience in presales, solutioning, proposal development, and architecture design.
• Knowledge of ERP integration (SAP/Oracle), TMS, WCS, robotics, and warehouse automation ecosystems.

Good to Have

• Experience with IT/OT integration in warehouse environments.
• Exposure to AGVs, robotic picking, conveyor systems, PLCs, and SCADA.
• Experience creating supply chain accelerators, frameworks, and thought leadership assets.
• Domain exposure to Manufacturing, Retail, Consumer Products, or Logistics.
