State Street is seeking an accomplished security professional to drive AppSec and software supply chain security across our CI/CD pipelines. The role emphasizes governance, SSDLC, artifact caches like Artifactory, and secure-by-default practices across Maven Central, PyPI, and open-source components.
You will collaborate with Engineering teams to implement DevSecOps, onboard tools, and deliver secure and verifiable processes.
The State Street Cyber Security Architecture & Engineering team is seeking an accomplished professional with proven expertise in Application (AppSec) and software supply chain security implementation/governance. The ideal candidate will have previous hands‑on experience in application security, build and release management, secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC), and the automation of security processes within CI/CD pipelines. Additionally, the candidate should have experience with configuring and managing artifact caches (e.g. JFrog Artifactory) and other artifact sources of truth at an enterprise scale, deep familiarity with package ecosystems like Maven Central, PyPI and familiarity with SLSA principles.
Software supply chain attacks have emerged as one of the most significant cybersecurity risks facing modern enterprises. As organizations increasingly rely on open‑source components, third‑party libraries, cloud‑native platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and AI‑assisted development, securing the end‑to‑end software development lifecycle has become critical to maintaining trust, resilience, and regulatory compliance.
This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring that software is developed, built, tested, signed, and deployed through secure and verifiable processes.
