Managing the Distributor Model in India
  • Plan and allocate stocks across all the locations in India in line with the business requirements. Manage the stock availability at all locations in line with orders and consumer demand. Initiate invoices to the distributor as per the business requirements. Check and manage the reimbursement of claims / expenses of the distributor in line with the agreement and business requirements and terms of trade with various consumer and key accounts. Review and coordinate for master data of existing / new customers of Stockiest / Consumer accounts / Aesthetic doctors tagged with the Distributor in terms of pricing / approved credit limit / delivery terms / tagging etc. Review and manage accounts receivable data of single distributor and ensure remittances on timely basis. Conduct joint review of accounts receivable / outstanding data of Stockiest / Consumer accounts & Aesthetic business along with the distributor to ensure smooth and healthy business. Manage commercial negotiations & work completion with the distributor for activities related to Logistics and Distribution which includes all costs related to the warehouse / freight / labor charges for ancillary activities. Manage commercial negotiations & work completion with the distributor and external vendor for all automation projects related to Logistics module / Distributor systems enhancement etc. Monthly operational, IT & Finance review with the National Distributor. Minuting the review and take necessary action. Monitoring KPIs of National Distributor periodically. Visit warehouse for audits and improvements in processes. Implement best practices of goods distribution activities & processes.
Support to the Field Team / Department
  • Cater to requirements from the field team in terms of providing the required data for listing in Key Hospitals / Institutions / Chain accounts. Provide MIS reports related to Forecast Accuracy / Stock availability / Slow moving – Nonmoving stocks / Debtors ageing / Sales reports etc. to necessary stakeholders. Provide fill rate for e-commerce customers to field team Initiate and complete various automated reports on real time basis for the field and business to facilitate timely data for e.g. Sales App for prescription business / Customer App for Aesthetics etc. Dispatch & manage samples as per marketing allocation and field requirements post necessary approvals. Provide month end data required by finance department for month end closure activity.
Managing Import of Finished Goods from Affiliates
  • Track and submit all import documents to the clearing agent. In case of Global packs, ensure labelling is completed in custom bonded warehouse. Coordinate with the clearance agent for payment of custom duty and ensure availability of goods at Galderma warehouse. Coordinate with the clearance agent for requirements of product testing etc. as per the custom law. Complete overall requirement of custom documents / approvals required for imports. Coordinate with quality department for release of stocks. Verify debit notes received from CHA and ensure timely submission to accounts for further payments.
Managing / Business partnering the South Asia Export Business
  • Discuss with the distributors on order planning / market requirements/ budgeted sales / for the year etc. and ensure proper support is received from all the stakeholders and Management team for the process. Coordinate with distributors on taking the orders and servicing. Ensure availability of stock for the orders and accordingly provide the exports plan as per demand planning process. Ensure proper documentation related to the exports, including day to day coordination with the customs agent, and ensure that the export shipments reach the distributor on timely basis. Prepare distributor agreements and get all required validations and approval from Global team in terms of legal and regulatory. Ensure receivables from the distributors in terms of advance remittance / Letter of credit etc. on timely basis. Submit all the required documents to Finance / Bank for compliance with Financial regulations. Ensure law requirements as per Indian standards are met for smooth transactions.
Galderma Warehouse Management
  • Set up policies and process for management and smooth operations of Galderma warehouse. Ensure C&F Agent (LSP) implement key control on inventory management at the warehouse, beginning from receipt of goods to billing process for saleable, sample & promotional stocks. Set up KPI for the LSP and monitor the same to ensure correct implementation.
Ensuring compliance
  • In line with the local laws and pricing requirements, file, and submit/ reports with the National Pharmaceuticals pricing Authority of India on timely basis.
