Job summary

Cummins India is seeking a seasoned Supply Chain Planning leader to oversee end-to-end operations across materials, production, inventory, logistics, demand management and order fulfillment. You will ensure customer expectations are met from end to end within connected supply chains.

The role emphasizes driving continuous improvement, leveraging Cummins Operating System tools, and coordinating with multiple business units to maintain alignment and optimize performance across the Indian network.

Qualifications

• College, university, or equivalent degree required.
• This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
• Significant level of experience required; 5–7 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Leads multi-location supply chain teams with end-to-end responsibility for supply chain operations.
• Oversees material planning, procurement, logistics, warehousing, transportation and supplier performance.

Job Summary

Lead efforts within one or more Supply Chain functions including materials, production, inventory, logistics, demand management and order fulfillment. Ensures internal and external customers' expectations and requirements are met from end to end in each of the supply chains.

• Materials KPI Management - Operates in relation to recent or historical outputs as compared to expectations of the organization to determine next steps to drive improvement; assesses gaps to the supply chain performance against the expectation of achieving target deliverables; interprets KPIs to understand end-customer impact; strategically balances trade-offs to influence one KPI while minimizing the impact to others.
• Supply Chain Knowledge - Influences, with the ability to concisely explain and/or elaborate on, the multi-disciplined and end-to-end integration of the flow of information, products, and services to achieve the desired result for the end customer within the first-fit or aftermarket business segments while balancing the tensions of inventory, cost, and delivery.

The role manages material planning, procurement, logistics, warehousing, transportation and supplier performance for manufactured and outsourced products, including exclusive oversight of OSP facilities , to ensure optimal delivery, quality, cost, and operational performance
