Job summary

L&T EPS Mobility is seeking a Supply Chain Leader - Motor to guide global and domestic sourcing for EV traction motor components. You will manage laminations, magnets, copper, casting, insulation, and sensors while aligning with Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and Finance to drive should-cost analyses, VAVE, and PPAP readiness.

The role requires 8–12+ years in automotive supply chains, strong negotiation skills, ERP proficiency, and the ability to manage risk and lead cross-functional

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years in supply chain, sourcing, or procurement in automotive or electro-mechanical manufacturing.
• Deep understanding of EV motor components: Laminations, Magnets, Copper, Insulation, Castings, Sensors, Housings.
• Experience with APQP, PPAP, IATF 16949, and supplier audits.
• Strong negotiation, commercial, and risk management skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and supply chain analytics.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and decision making under ambiguity.

• Develop global and local sourcing strategy for traction motor commodities.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard capable suppliers based on quality, capacity, cost, technology, ESG, and logistics considerations.
• Drive supplier APQP/PPAP readiness for all new programs.
• Conduct supplier audits and ensure closure of gaps (e.g., VDA 6.3).
• Build dual-sourcing and localization strategy to reduce cost and supply risk.
• Lead cost analysis, benchmarking, and value engineering with Design/ME.
