Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Supply Chain Analytics Specialist in Pune to partner with global Trade Compliance and Operations teams, delivering accurate reporting and data-driven insights.

You will build data models, automate reporting, and collaborate across functions using Excel, Power BI, SQL, and ERP systems to improve on-time delivery and compliance. This hybrid role offers growth opportunities and exposure to global initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience working in supply chain analytics, trade compliance, operations, or procurement environments.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Power Query, Pivot Tables, Power Pivot, and VBA.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
• Knowledge of data modeling and DAX.
• Experience working with SQL and understanding of ETL concepts.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively across global teams and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with global Trade Compliance and Operations teams to support adherence to international trade regulations.
• Prepare, validate, and maintain documentation required for global trade compliance and shipment processing.
• Contribute to audit readiness activities and support compliance monitoring efforts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve trade-related challenges effectively.
• Develop certification documentation for approval by global trade leadership.
• Engage with suppliers to assess eligibility and compliance with Free Trade Agreement (FTA) requirements.
• Design and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and KPI reports using Power BI and Excel.
• Deliver accurate and timely supply chain reports with a focus on on-time delivery and error-free outputs.
• Analyze sourcing, purchasing, and supplier performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Generate insights on key metrics such as on-time delivery, defects per million, spend, lead time, and cost savings.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across systems and reporting platforms.
• Build data models and automate reporting processes to enhance efficiency.
• Integrate data from enterprise systems including ERP platforms.
• Drive continuous improvement in analytics frameworks and reporting capabilities.
• Support strategic planning initiatives by providing data-driven insights to leadership.

• Experience working with advanced analytics tools or automation frameworks
• Awareness of Microsoft 365 Copilot capabilities in analytics workflows
