Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in India is seeking a Quality Assurance/Quality Control professional to oversee QA/QC activities on-site. You will review MQAPs, ITPs, inspection checklists, and material submittals, ensuring works comply with approved methods and drawings.

The role involves conducting inspections and tests, identifying risks, implementing mitigations, raising NAR/NCR when needed, maintaining QMS documentation, and coordinating with project teams and clients to drive continuous quality

Qualifications

• Knowledge in preparation of MQAPs, ITPs, Inspection Checklists, Material Submittal reviews, Method Statements/SOPs for site materials.
• Conduct inspections, tests and QA checks to ensure works meet MQAPs/ITPs, drawings, and method statements.
• Identify Risks & opportunities, plan & implement mitigation for risks affecting quality.
• Follow up for corrective and risk mitigation on non-conformity.
• Interface with the project team and client towards inspection and resolution of quality issues including raising NAR and NCR and follow up for closure on time.
• Implement and monitor all QMS related activities.
• Share updates on quality deviation at factory/vendor place and take corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain QAQC documentation such as Audit reports, inspections, test reports, FATs, NCR, site observations, test certificates, MTC, etc.
• Conduct quality inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specs, codes and standards.
• Participate in quality meetings and provide inputs for project improvement.
• Maintain quality records, documentation, and reports.
• Provide vendor quality performance ratings and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and contract documents to ensure quality requirements.
• Monitor and report on quality objectives and KPIs to assess effectiveness of quality control measures.

Job description

Knowledge and experience in preparation of MQAPs, ITPs, Inspection Checklist, Review of Material Submittal, Method Statement/ SOPs, related materials being supplied to the site etc. Conduct inspection, test, and quality checks to ensure the works executed are as per approved MQAPs / ITPs, drawings, and work procedures/method statements. Identify Risks & opportunities, plan & implement mitigation for risks going to affect quality.

Follow up for Corrective and risk mitigation on non-conformity. Interface with the project team and client towards inspection and resolution of quality issues including raising NAR (Non-Acceptance Report) and NCR (Non-Compliance Report) and follow up for closure on time. Implement and monitor all QMS (Quality Management System) related activities. Share regular updates on quality deviation at the factory / vendor place and take necessary corrective and preventive actions for further improvement. Maintain all QAQC-related documentation of the factory / vendor premises like Audit reports, site/s/c/vendor inspection, stage inspection reports, Routine test reports, FATs, NCR, site observations, Raw Material test certificates, MTC, training, etc. Conducting quality inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards. Participating in quality meetings and providing inputs for project improvement. Maintaining quality records, documentation, and reports. Providing vendor' quality performance rating and ensuring adherence to quality standards. Review project specifications, drawings, and contract documents to ensure quality requirements are met. Monitoring and reporting on quality objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of quality control measures and identify areas for improvement.
