We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead / Supervisor, Software Engineering with a strong full-stack background to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our client engagements, acting as a crucial bridge between business requirements and technical execution. You will not only drive technical architecture and design but also remain a hands‑on individual contributor, mentoring a team of engineers while leveraging modern AI tools, cloud infrastructure, and observability practices to deliver high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership & Client Engagement: Lead client interactions, gather and refine technical requirements, and translate them into actionable engineering tasks.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Actively collaborate with cross-functional teams working on the same product, as well as with other external or dependent teams on a need basis, to ensure seamless integration, alignment, and delivery.
• Architecture & Design: Spearhead technical design and architectural decisions for new and existing projects whenever necessary.
• Cloud Infrastructure & Performance: Monitor cloud application performance, deeply understand deployed cloud components, and actively collaborate with the infrastructure team to suggest and implement architectural improvements.
• Team Mentorship: Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to the engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and positive problem-solving.
• Hands‑On Development: Act as a strong individual contributor (IC) working on user story implementation, primarily focusing on Node.js and GraphQL backends.
• Modern Engineering Practices: Champion Spec Driven Development (SDD) and efficiently leverage AI concepts and tools (e.g., LLMs, code assistants) to accelerate development workflows.
• System Reliability: Implement and monitor robust telemetry-based observability to ensure system health, performance, and reliability.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 10+ years of proven experience in the IT industry, with an extensive background in Tech Lead or similar leadership roles.
• Primary Tech Stack: Deep, hands‑on expertise in backend development using Node.js, GraphQL, and REST APIs.
• Database Expertise: Strong hands‑on proficiency with PostgreSQL, including database schema design, complex query writing, indexing, and query optimization.
• Secondary Tech Stack: Solid working knowledge of frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, and TypeScript.
• Cloud Platforms: Hands‑on experience with major cloud providers, specifically AWS and/or Azure, with a strong understanding of core cloud services and deployment models.
• DevOps & Infrastructure: Proven hands‑on experience with containerization and orchestration tools, specifically Docker Swarm and Kubernetes.
• Data & Caching: Strong experience working with in‑memory data stores and caches, particularly Redis.
• AI Integration: Familiarity with AI concepts and the practical ability to use AI tools effectively to assist in daily coding and architectural tasks.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills, ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams, and a proactive, positive attitude toward tackling complex technical challenges.
