We are hiring Structural Steel Detailer (US based expertise) for India’s largest e-Commerce company, which offers a wide range of eSelling, eSourcing, eFinance, and Knowledge services across diverse industry verticals to empower businesses with greater process efficiencies.

Location: Kolkata, India

Qualification: BE in Civil/Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 3+ years with mandatory experience in working on US-based projects

Drawing & Detailing: Create detailed shop drawings and layouts for steel structures, extracting information from structural and architectural drawings for model creation. Develop complex 3D models with thorough analysis of fabrication and erection issues.

GA and Fabrication Knowledge: Develop General Arrangement (GA) drawings and detailed fabrication drawings, adhering to industry standards.

Shop Drawings: Prepare shop drawings for steel fabrication, including connection and assembly instructions.

Software Proficiency: Proficient in AutoCAD, SDS2, TEKLA, and relevant software (Must have 3-5 years of experience).

What You’ll Bring:

• Experience as a structural steel detailer
• Experience working on US-based projects
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with external customers
• Ability to check the final product produced by the team
• Flexibility to work according to different client standards
• Knowledge of creating various user-defined connections as per job requirements
• Knowledge of AISC, AWS, ASTM standards
