Job summary

Karmaasrconsultants is seeking a Senior Structural Draughtsman to design and develop structural systems. You will be responsible for producing detailed AutoCAD 2D drawings and collaborating with engineers to meet project deadlines.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in heavy engineering or manufacturing projects, strong problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for precision. This on-site role is based in Mumbai, with opportunities to contribute to industrial scale projects.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in structural drawing/ detailing.
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2D and other CAD software.
• Strong understanding of steel and RCC detailing and drafting standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop structural drawings including plans, profiles, sections, and layouts.
• Ensure designs comply with regulations and quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and surveyors to interpret sketches.

Job description

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Structural Draughtsman to join our team, responsible for designing and developing structural systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural design and excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software (AutoCAD 2D)
• Competitive math skills, understanding of levels, distances, and coordinates.
• Specific skill set in steel structural Drawing, RCC detailing, & Ability to meet deadlines.
• Provides general AutoCAD drafting for the preparation of preliminary and detailed design drawings including plans profiles, typical cross-sections, and geometric.
• Ensure final designs comply with regulations and quality standards
• Develop skills to prepare drawings, sketches, and layouts using basic drafting techniques
• Industrial experience added advantage.

Education: Minmum 12th Pass.

Experience: 7+yrs of experience. Preference shall be for the candidates having industrial/ heavy engg./ manufacturing projects

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D) and other CAD software
• Ability to produce technical drawings based on rough sketches, specifications, and calculations

Soft Skills:

• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in technical drawings
• Time management to meet deadlines efficiently
