Job description

• Experience : The candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a retail setting for the post of Stores Manager with at least 3 - 5 years in a management role. She/he should be conversant with all the aspects of the retail store, ensuring efficient operations, driving sales, maintaining inventory accuracy, and fostering a positive environment for both customers and employees. This role requires a dynamic leader who can meet financial objectives and uphold brand standards. Further the following is also strongly preferred :
• System Proficiency : Experience with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, inventory management software, and basic Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word) is necessary.
• Leadership : Strong ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team.
• Communication : Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills for interacting effectively with staff, customers, and vendors.
• Problem-Solving : The ability to think quickly, make sound decisions under pressure, and resolve conflicts efficiently.
• Organizational : Exceptional time management and multitasking abilities to prioritize various responsibilities. Conversant with all the key aspects & Principles of Stores Management & particularly the operations part.
• Financial Acumen : Understanding of budgeting, analyzing sales data and controlling costs.
• Education : A Master's degree in Business Administration with Specialisation in Retail Management / Material Management / Purchase Management / Inventory Control, or a related field is highly preferred. Computer literacy is preferred additionally.
