Job summary

Powertech Transformers &Controls Pvt Ltd is seeking a skilled coil winding technician to produce LV/HV windings for oil-cooled and dry-type transformers, ensuring precision and adherence to testing standards.

The candidate will operate winding machinery, follow drawings, and maintain IS/IEC quality. Suitable for ITI/ Diploma holders with familiarity in copper/aluminium winding and insulation materials, reading data sheets, and ensuring shop-floor discipline.

Qualifications

• ITI/Diploma in Electrical or a relevant field is required.
• Knowledge of copper/aluminium winding and insulation materials.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and winding data sheets.

Responsibilities

• Perform coil winding for distribution and power transformers (up to 5MVA).
• Operate winding machines, tensioners, and insulation equipment.
• Follow engineering drawings and design parameters.
• Maintain quality standards as per IS/IEC specifications.
• Handle tap leads, interlayer insulation, and core assembly support.
• Report material consumption and maintain shop-floor discipline.
