Job summary

AgroStar is seeking a COCO Store Expansion Associate to lead end-to-end expansion: identify new markets, evaluate sites, build location pipelines, and coordinate with internal teams for launch.

You will travel extensively to on-ground markets, assess feasibility, manage vendors and landlords, and drive costed expansion plans while reporting progress to leadership. Freshers or candidates with 1–2 years in sales/BD/retail are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Freshers or candidates with 1–2 years of experience in sales, business development, retail, field operations or a similar role.
• Knowledge of the local market and local network preferred.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively and visit on-ground markets.

Role Overview:

The COCO Store Expansion Associate will manage end-to-end store expansion, identifying new markets and locations, evaluating their potential, building the location pipeline, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, managing launch costs and timelines, ensuring smooth store setup and launch, supporting the initial post-launch phase, and tracking expansion progress and risks.

The Role:

Drive end-to-end store expansion, from identifying potential markets and locations to successful store launch.

Conduct market and location feasibility assessments, evaluating farmer potential, competition, accessibility, rentals, and overall business viability.

Build and manage a pipeline of potential locations, working with internal stakeholders to evaluate, shortlist and finalise sites.

Own store launch execution, coordinating with Operations, Procurement, Finance, People Practices, Branding, Projects and other teams to ensure timely readiness.

Manage landlords, vendors, contractors and local stakeholders, ensuring smooth execution of commercial and operational requirements.

Prepare and track business cases, expansion costs, timelines, and budgets, ensuring launches are delivered within approved parameters.

Partner with the Store Operations team during the initial post-launch phase, resolving operational gaps and ensuring stores are set up for successful performance.

Maintain expansion dashboards and regular reporting, proactively highlighting progress, risks, delays, and key decisions required to leadership.

What we are looking for:

Freshers or candidates with 1–2 years of experience in sales, business development, retail, field operations or a similar role.

Candidates with strong knowledge of the local market and local network will be preferred.

Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Comfortable with extensive travel and on-ground market visits.
