Job summary

Hurix is seeking a Storage & Backup Engineer to join our Pune team. This role administers the multi-platform Dell storage estate and enterprise backup/recovery operations, including scheduled restore testing and compliance reporting.

You will handle provisioning, capacity and performance management for storage, backup policy and job management, as well as firmware patching and replication monitoring to ensure data resilience and business continuity.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on storage and backup engineering experience.
• Dell storage administration across PowerMax, VMAX, PowerStore and Unity platforms.
• SAN/NAS provisioning and configuration.
• Enterprise backup software administration (NetBackup/Networker or equivalent).
• Replication configuration and monitoring (SRDF or equivalent).
• Scheduled restore testing and compliance reporting.

Synopsis

Administers the multi-platform Dell storage estate (PowerMax, VMAX, PowerStore, Unity 9 arrays) and enterprise backup/recovery operations, including scheduled restore testing and compliance reporting.
