Job summary

Leading BIG 4 in Hyderabad is seeking a Statutory Audit Manager/Assistant Manager to lead statutory audit engagements, oversee teams, and manage client relationships.

You will apply AS/Ind AS/SA knowledge, mentor juniors, assess risks and controls, and ensure compliance with firm policies and regulators.

Qualifications

• CA qualification with statutory audits experience.
• Strong knowledge of AS, Ind AS, and SAs.
• Experience in a professional services environment preferred.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, project management and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple engagements.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and finalize statutory audit engagements.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and project management.
• Supervise, guide, and mentor junior auditors.
• Review work to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Liaise with Tax, C Law, and overseas teams for integrated service delivery.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Leading BIG 4 is hiring for Statutory Audit Manager/Assistant Manager for Hyderabad Location

Preferred candidate profile

• Audit Management: Plan, execute, and finalize statutory audit engagements, overseeing day-to-day operations and project management.
• Team Leadership: Supervise, guide, and mentor junior auditors, reviewing their work and ensuring high-quality outcomes.
• Technical Expertise: Apply strong knowledge of Accounting Standards (AS), Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), and Auditing Standards (SAs).
• Client Interaction: Act as a key point of contact, understand client business, address queries, and manage client relationships.
• Risk & Control: Identify business risks, assess internal controls, and recommend improvements.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed audit reports, findings, and conclusions for management and stakeholders.
• Coordination: Liaise with other firm teams (Tax, C Law, etc.) and overseas counterparts for integrated service delivery.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal firm policies.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Education: CA Qualified.
• Experience: Proven experience in statutory audits, ideally within a professional services environment.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, leadership, project management, communication, and attention to detail.
