Role & Responsibilities

A CA Fresher Job Description (JD) for Statutory Audit involves assisting in planning, executing, and reporting audits, preparing working papers, ensuring compliance with accounting/auditing standards (Ind AS/IFRS, SAs), and coordinating with audit teams/clients. Key skills include analytical thinking, strong communication, and knowledge of financial regulations.

  • Perform detailed audit procedures, including vouching, verification, and analytical reviews.
  • Prepare audit working papers and documentation for client files.
  • Assist in drafting financial statements and audit reports under applicable frameworks.
  • Understand and evaluate client's internal control environments.
  • Support senior team members in audit planning and execution.
  • Ensure adherence to Statutory Compliance (Companies Act, ICAI Standards).
  • Communicate with clients for required information and clarifications.
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with completed articleship.
  • Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards (AS/Ind AS) and Auditing Standards (SAs).
