Job summary

BioQuest Solutions in Bengaluru is seeking a Statistician - HEOR with 3-5 years of experience to design and build health economic models (cost-effectiveness, cost-utility, budget impact) using Excel VBA and R.

The role includes developing network meta-analyses, data cleaning of patient-level data, and creating SAPs, reports, and HTA dossiers for clients and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of HEOR/statistics experience in health economics or related field.
• Experience with economic modeling and regulatory standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement economic models (cost-effectiveness, cost-utility, budget impact).
• Develop and run network meta-analyses to compare interventions.
• Prepare SAPs and ensure alignment with regulatory standards.
• Clean, manipulate, and analyze patient-level data using R.
• Translate results into clear reports, presentations, and HTA dossiers.
• Collaborate with health economists and project managers; mentor junior statisticians.

Position Title/Designation: Statistician - HEOR

Location: Bangalore / Remote

Experience Required: 3-5 years

Key Expectations

• Design and build cost-effectiveness, cost-utility, cost-minimization, and budget impact models using advanced statistical methods and software (primarily Excel with VBA).
• Develop and implement network meta-analyses to compare the effectiveness of different healthcare interventions.
• Collaborate with health economists and project managers to ensure models address client needs and research objectives.
• Data Analysis: Conduct extensive data cleaning, manipulation, and analysis using R, focusing on patient-level data and other complex datasets.
• Apply appropriate statistical techniques to draw meaningful conclusions from data and identify key trends and patterns.
• Develop and document statistical analysis plans (SAPs) in adherence to regulatory and industry standards.
• Communication and Reporting: Translate complex statistical findings into clear and concise reports, presentations, and HTA dossiers for diverse audiences, including clients, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders.
• Effectively communicate model assumptions, limitations, and results in a way that facilitates informed decision-making.
• Present findings at internal and external meetings with clarity and confidence.
• Collaboration and Training: Work closely with health economists, project managers, and other team members to ensure project success.
• Contribute to the development and training of junior statisticians within the team.
