Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced Statistical Programming Lead in Kerala to architect and oversee complex programming solutions for clinical data. You will guide teams across studies, ensure data integrity, and drive process improvements in SAS-based environments.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting awareness, and the ability to mentor staff while delivering high-quality analyses and documentation for clients.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience in lieu of degree.
• Knowledge of statistics, programming and/or clinical drug development process.
• Advanced knowledge of Base SAS, SAS Graph and SAS Macro Language.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide experienced technical expertise to develop process methodology for the department and meet internal and external client needs.
• Plan and coordinate development of integrated programming solutions across statistical programming needs
• Provide technical expertise and leadership to the department
• Provide internal consulting services, including specifications and user needs analysis for complex project or client requirements
• Program, test, and document statistical programs for tables, figures, and listing summaries
• Program analysis databases (derived datasets) and data transfers for internal and external clients
• Plan programming of database quality control checks
• Integrate databases from multiple studies or sources
• Develop and coordinate programming documentation, plans, and specifications
• Provide advanced technical expertise and independently bring project solutions to teams and the department
• Develop, implement, and validate process technologies, macros, and applications
• Fulfill statistical team lead responsibilities for complex studies
• Understand scope of work, budgets, and quote assumptions; estimate completed work; manage out-of-scope work and resource forecasts
• May manage project budgets and resource requirements and provide revenue forecasts
• Provide training and guidance to lower-level staff
