Job summary

LTM is seeking a Python Starburst Trino Developer to build scalable data solutions. You will develop Python-based data pipelines, APIs, and applications while leveraging Starburst Trino for high-performance distributed SQL analytics.

Responsibilities include ETL pipeline development, writing optimized SQL, API creation with FastAPI/Flask, and implementing data quality, security, and governance. Collaboration with data engineering and BI teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in building Python data pipelines and APIs.
• Strong SQL query optimization and data modeling skills.
• Experience with Starburst Trino or Presto for distributed SQL analytics.

Responsibilities

• Develop Python applications and ETL pipelines to support data solutions.
• Build and optimize SQL queries in Starburst Trino/Presto.
• Create REST APIs using FastAPI or Flask.
• Enhance query performance and data models; create materialized views.
• Implement data quality, security, and governance controls.
• Collaborate with data engineering, BI, and analytics teams.
• Hands-on Starburst Trino/Presto experience against large datasets.
• Strong SQL and query optimization capabilities.
• Work with Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect for orchestrations.
• Familiarity with data lakes and formats (Parquet, ORC, Avro).
• Leverage Docker and Git in CI/CD pipelines.

• 6 Collaborate with data engineering BI and analytics teams
• 7 Handson experience with Starburst Trino Presto
• 8 Strong SQL and query optimization skills
