Job summary

Temporal Technologies in Bengaluru (APJ India) seeks a Staff Solutions Architect to lead the technical relationship with customers and prospects, guiding application fit to Temporal’s platform and demonstrating cloud advantages in production deployments.

You will work with Sales to shape account plans, promote best practices for scalable architectures, and mentor teams on adoption, security, reliability, and cost considerations.

Qualifications

• Reside within Bangalore, India.
• Exceptional technical communication skills, including presenting, whiteboarding, and writing.
• Deep understanding of distributed system technologies, design principles, and best practices.
• Proficiency in building application prototypes and providing design, development, build, and deployment guidance using one or more of Temporal’s supported languages: Java, Golang, TypeScript, Python, C# or PHP.
• Firm grasp of operational considerations in production environments, such as security, reliability, performance, cost management, and operations.
• Ability to provide insightful advice on architectural topics, including application patterns and platform architectures.
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider and familiarity with commonly used application development and production services.
• Serve as a strategic technical advisor to Sales Account Executives, assisting with scoping and sizing opportunities and offering guidance on technical fit and challenges.

Role Summary

The Staff Solutions Architect is Temporal's primary customer-facing technical leader within the Banking team,with a focus on theAPJ (India) region. In this crucial role, you’ll work directly with prospects and customers, guiding them in understanding the suitability of their applications for Temporal’s platform and showcasing the technical advantages of our cloud service. Your contribution is vital in positioning Temporal against alternative technologies, helping customer engineering teams expand production applications using Temporal, and owning the technical relationship with key decision-makers. Your role is integral to our success.
