The Staff Software Technician position is a challenging role dealing with a diverse set of problems, executing build, test, and release tasks of Drivers to create high quality products.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Build Triage: Understand the build process for the purposes of triage.
- Automated Tests: Ensure uptime of tests, supervise test results, chart test trends, manage priority and frequency of test runs, improve test infrastructure.
- Manual Tests: Understand the manual tests and help others resolve test issues and provide mentorship on manual test issues.
- Azure DevOps and Source Control: Branch mechanics such as create branches, manage versions and permissions.
- Maintain work backlog, work Items, view source code and pipelines, dashboards, queries and AzDO API.
- Collaborate with teams, manage information, and conform to support policies for dependency management.
- Git: Create and approve pull requests, clone, merge, view history, Git CLI, etc.
- Faster turnaround time to report triage results and advance issues.
- Work with the team lead to prioritize tasks and leverage resources to deliver releases timely.
- Connect with peers efficiently.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- 2‑6 years of proven experience with a demonstrated ability in attention to detail, problem‑solving and proposing reasonable solutions.
- Diploma/BCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Communications, or Telecommunication.
- Familiarity with text‑based programming languages, preferably Python, and standard tools like the command line interface (cmd) and Excel.
- Good communication skills to gather information from global peers.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Experience working with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment tools & processes such as Azure DevOps (pipelines, pipeline automation, test plans, etc.) and Git.
- Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
- Familiarity with text‑based programming languages, preferably Python, and standard tools like the command line interface (cmd) and Excel.
