Staff Software Engineer - Networking

We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer with a networking background to join the Networking Infrastructure team at Databricks in Bengaluru, India. This is an exciting opportunity to help build backend connectivity services that power millions of virtual machines and the scalable compute plane on our world‑class data and AI platform.

We build and run the world’s best data and AI infrastructure platform to empower customers to solve the world’s toughest problems. Networking Infrastructure is a core component powering all our data and AI products, as well as enterprise security features that connect to cloud resources and prevent data exfiltration.

As a seed member of the Bangalore site, you will design and develop new services for connectivity between the control plane and compute plane, work closely with product, operations, and other engineering teams, and lead the delivery of robust, scalable networking systems in a fast‑paced environment that tackles novel multi‑cloud and distributed systems challenges.

What We Look For

• 12+ years of production level experience in Python, Java, Scala, C++, or a similar language
