Job summary

Blue Yonder seeks an experienced software architect/lead to drive architecture across microservices within a scalable, multi-tenant Azure-based environment. You will design robust, scalable solutions and guide teams spanning frontend ReactJS, backend Java/Spring Boot, and mobile React Native.

Role emphasizes architecture leadership, secure cloud deployments, and delivering high availability for enterprise cloud solutions. Collaboration across product and customers is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (STEM) and 14–16 years of software development experience.
• Experience as Architect in the last 5 years.
• Full‑stack expertise: ReactJS frontend and enterprise Java backend.

Scope

• Develop features across multiple sub modules within our applications, including collaboration in requirements definition, prototyping, design, coding, testing, debugging, effort estimation, and continuous quality improvement of the design & code and deployment.
• Design, develop and manage automated unit and acceptance tests

Our Current Technical Environment

• Software: Java, Springboot, ReactJS, ReactNative, Gradle, GIT, Hibernate, Rest API, OAuth
• Application Architecture: Scalable, Resilient, event driven, secure multi-tenant Microservices architecture
• Cloud Architecture: MS Azure (ARM templates, AKS, HD insight, Application gateway, Virtue Networks, Event Hub, Azure AD)
• Frameworks/Others: Kubernetes, Kafka, Elasticsearch, NOSQL, RDBMS, Springboot, GITHub

What You’ll Do

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree (STEM preferred) and minimum 14 to 16 years of experience in Software development; ideally a candidate that has started as a Software Engineer and progressed to Lead Software Engineer and has been an Architect, within the last 5 years minimum
• Full‑stack experience with ReactJS for front-end development and hands‑on back‑end Enterprise Java development
• Mobile application experience (React Native and/or native Android/iOS)
• Demonstrable experience Java, Springboot, Microservices, designing, building deploying and maintenance of enterprise cloud solutions in Azure
• Demonstrable experience with microservices based architecture on Cloud at scale.
• Experience with implementation of Event driven architecture using Kafka, Spark or similar technologies
• Hands-on development skills along with architecture/design experience; should not have moved away from software development
• Demonstrable experience, thorough knowledge and interests in Cloud native architecture, Distributed micro-services, Multi-tenant SaaS solution and Cloud Scalability, performance and High availability
• Experience with API management platforms & providing / consuming RESTful APIs
• Experience with varied tools such as Spring Boot, OAuth, REST, GraphQL, Hibernate, NoSQL, RDBMS, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, React.
• Experience with DevOps, Infrastructure as Code and infrastructure automation.
• Good Understanding of secure architectures, secure configuration, identity management.
