Job summary

Google seeks software engineers to develop AI/ML systems and agentic HR solutions at scale. You will lead design, testing, and deployment for critical projects, collaborating with AI Garage Leads and business stakeholders.

We value strong communication across teams, and fluency in delivering high-quality software in a fast-paced environment. Interviews are primarily in-person as part of the process.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
• 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products.
• 1 year of experience with Generative AI, Agentic AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI evaluations, training, or models.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience collaborating in a globally distributed product and engineering team.
• Excellent communication skills across engineering, product and business domains.
• Implementing and customizing structural execution patterns like ReAct (Reason + Act), Tree of Thoughts (ToT), and Plan-and-Solve loops, giving models the cognitive scaffolding to break down vague goals into deterministic DAGs (Directed Acyclic Graphs).

• Influence and Design and build scalable Agentic systems in HR domain.
• Collaborate with AI Garage Leads (Eng Managers, Product Managers and AI strategist) and stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in Agentic and AIML engineering.
