Job summary

R1 RCM is seeking an experienced AI/ML engineer to join our R&D team in India. You will work on ML models, deep learning, NLP, computer vision, chatbots, and robotics to drive innovation in healthcare outcomes.

The role requires 6-10 years in IT with hands-on ML/AI experience, proficiency in Python, NLP, and cloud services (Azure, OpenAI). You will design and implement PoCs/MVPs and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of IT experience including 3+ years applying ML/AI models to practical solutions.
• Bachelor in Computer Science preferred (B.Tech/B.E. or MCA).
• Experience with ML, Python, NLP, Azure services, OpenAI, GenAI, and LLMs.
• Knowledge of algorithms, OO/functional design, and best-practice patterns.
• Experience in API development/consumption and frontend tech like JavaScript.
• Experience with NoSQL and RDBMS database design and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Advise leaders on AI/ML strategy and technology options.
• Work on design, prototyping, testing, and support procedures for AI/ML projects.
• Develop and assess AI/ML solutions and PoC/MVP with rapid turnaround.
• Document architecture and lessons learned for each exploration.

We are looking for an experienced AI/ML engineer to join our R&D team, who can work on ML (Machine Learning) models, use deep learning, neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), computer vision, chatbots, and robotics to help us improve various business outcomes and drive innovation. Objectives of this role

Develop and implement solutions/processes and carry out R&D (Research and Development) to meet the needs of our AI/ML strategy. Help in design and development of advanced analytic solutions across functional areas as per requirement/opportunities. Foster innovative ideas for developing high impact solutions.

Responsibilities

As part of the R&D team, help the team to advise leaders on a broad range of technology, strategy associated with AI (Artificial Intelligence) & ML Work on functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping),prototyping, testing, and support procedures, in collaboration with the team. Articulate and document the solutions architecture and lessons learned for each exploration and accelerated incubation. Work as team members, develop & assess the AI/ML and automation opportunities. Enable team members/as individual contributors to make necessary changes in product performance or presentation. Develop new and innovative AI/ML based solutions and PoC (Proof of Concept)/MVP with quick turnaround.

Must have skills

6-10 Years of experience in IT including 3+ years in developing applying MLAI models to practical and comprehensive technology solutions. Must be graduate in Computer Science preferably B. Tech/B.E. or MCA etc. Experience with ML, Python, NLP, Azure services, OpenAI, GenAI, LLM. Knowledge of basic algorithms, object-oriented and functional design principles, and best-practice patterns. Experience in API development/consumption. Experience with frontend technologies like Javascript/Jquery/React/Angular NoSQL/RDBMS database design and optimizations.

Good to Have Skills

Good to have knowledge of any other programming and/or scripting language. Exposure to Cloud technology like AWS (Amazon Web Services) GCP (Google Cloud Platform). Open and willing to learn & work in any technology. Experience with visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau etc.) Experience in Healthcare sector e.g. RCM
