Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and quality nursing care to patients according to their individual needs.
• Monitor patients' vital signs, health conditions, and progress, and report any changes promptly.
• Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and other treatments as prescribed by doctors.
• Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and patient treatment.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date nursing records, charts, and patient documentation.
• Follow hospital protocols for infection prevention, patient safety, hygiene, and medication management.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and provide appropriate nursing support.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment, medication, recovery, and basic healthcare practices.
• Coordinate with doctors, nursing supervisors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients.
• Ensure proper handover of patient information between shifts.
• Handle nursing equipment and supplies responsibly and report any issues when required.
