A Staff Nurse - Nursing Labour Room provides specialized nursing care to women during labour, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period. The includes maternal and fetal monitoring, preparation for delivery, assistance during procedures, medication administration, newborn support, documentation, infection control, and coordination with obstetric and neonatal teams.

• Assess and monitor pregnant women admitted to the labour room.
• Monitor maternal vital signs and clinical condition.
• Monitor fetal heart rate and other relevant fetal parameters.
• Assist obstetricians during labour and delivery procedures.
• Prepare patients and the labour room for normal and assisted deliveries.
• Administer prescribed medications, IV fluids, and treatments.
• Monitor progress of labour and report abnormalities promptly.
• Assist during emergency obstetric procedures and interventions.
