Job summary

CIPHER Oncology Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an Oncology Nurse to support cancer patients by addressing barriers to care and enabling timely access to home or centre-based services.

The role involves visiting patients, observing families to identify health problems, and applying nursing assessments with home care planning. The candidate should excel in nursing assessment, care planning, and problem-solving, and be able to lift or transfer patients, supplies, and equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience in nursing for critical care patients.
• Ability to work independently with strong time management and prioritisation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in at least 2-3 languages (Telugu, English, Hindi).
• Ability to plan, organise and carry out nursing activities while understanding patient state.
• Attends staff meetings and in-service training for continued education.

• Visit and observe assigned patients and their families to discover, define, act on and/or report causes of health problems.
• Demonstrated excellence in nursing assessment, home care planning and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to lift or transfer patients, medical supplies, and equipment.
• Work effectively with patients and families to assist them in satisfactory solution of health problems.
• Ability to deal effectively with change within the unstructured nature of health coaching and remain focused and perform other related work as required.
• Coordinate with doctors and related department leads to plan administrative activities. Oncology home care discharge planning experience preferred.
