Nursing or GNM are welcome to apply. You will provide basic nursing care, monitor patients, assist doctors, and ensure infection control. Transportation and food are provided, with rotation between shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid nursing registration with the applicable State Nursing Council.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care and assistance to patients.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, blood pressure and respiration.
• Assist doctors during examinations, treatments and medical procedures.
• Administer medications as prescribed and as permitted by applicable protocols and scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
• Follow infection prevention, hygiene and patient safety procedures.
• Assist with patient admission, transfer and discharge procedures.
• Educate patients and their families on basic healthcare instructions.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of patient care equipment.
• Follow hospital policies, professional ethics and confidentiality requirements.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and report changes in patient condition to senior nursing staff.
