Job summary

Renesas Electronics seeks a skilled engineer to develop performance models for complex SoCs using SystemC TLM 2.0 and perform in-depth performance analysis. You will work closely with SoC architects and cross-functional teams to optimize system performance and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in SoC performance modelling, strong SystemC experience, and a solid grasp of CPU, GPU, DDR and high-speed interfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in SoC performance modelling and analysis.
• Proficiency in developing SystemC TLM 2.0 performance models and understanding of SystemC simulators.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain performance models for SoC designs using SystemC TLM 2.0.
• Collaborate with architecture, design, software and verification teams to define performance requirements.
• Analyze and optimize system performance including DDR, CPU, GPU and interconnects.
• Identify bottlenecks and propose solutions; conduct simulations and provide analyses and reports.
• Mentor junior engineers in performance modelling techniques and best practices.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing performance models using SystemC TLM 2.0 and performance analysis of complex SoCs. The role involves working closely with SoC architects and cross-functional teams to optimize SoC performance and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain performance models for SoC designs using SystemC TLM 2.0
• Collaborate with architecture, design, software and verification teams to define performance requirements and ensure alignment with overall system goals
• Analyze and optimize system performance, including DDR, CPU, GPU, Interconnects and high-speed interface like PCIe, UCIe etc
• Identify performance bottlenecks and propose solutions to improve system efficiencyConduct performance simulations and provide detailed analysis and reports
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in performance modelling and analysis techniques and best practices
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in SoC performance modelling and industry solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in SoC performance modelling and analysis
• Proficiency in developing SystemC TLM 2.0 performance models and strong understanding of SystemC simulators
• Strong understanding of SoC architecture, including CPU, GPU, DDR and interconnects
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
