Job summary

Nagarro is seeking a Staff Engineer specialized in Dynamics 365 Business Central to lead enterprise-wide deployments across South Asia. The role requires deep BC expertise, strong finance and supply chain knowledge, and extensive client-facing experience.

You will collaborate with onshore and offshore teams, map business requirements to BC solutions, and drive functional delivery from design through deployment, including data migration and integration work.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Experience : 5.5+yrs
• Relevant hands-on experience working with Dynamics NAV and Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Strong expertise in Dynamics 365 Business Central with demonstrated experience in enterprise-wide application implementation, integration, and support.
• Strong expertise in the Finance module of Dynamics NAV/Business Central.
• Good understanding of Supply Chain processes and functionality within Dynamics NAV/Business Central.
• Expert-level client interaction and strong experience working in client-facing consulting roles.
• Strong requirements analysis skills with the ability to translate business requirements into effective Business Central configurations and solutions.
• Experience mapping business requirements to standard Business Central functionality and identifying configuration, customization, and integration requirements.
• Experience delivering at least 2 full project lifecycle implementations as a Lead Consultant or Solution Architect.
• Good technical understanding of Dynamics NAV and Business Central, including system setup, configuration, data migration, integration, and development.
• Demonstrated experience working across multiple business environments and designing solutions aligned with different customer objectives.
• Strong business process knowledge and analytical skills.
• Experience working with both onshore and offshore teams and third-party implementation partners.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent spoken and written English skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to take ownership, initiate actions, and follow through on well-defined solutions and implementation plans.

Responsibilities

• Act as a functional expert and advocate for Dynamics NAV and Dynamics 365 Business Central applications and technology.
• Maintain up-to-date functional and technical knowledge of the Dynamics NAV and Business Central product portfolio.
• Work directly with clients to understand business objectives, project scope, requirements, and solution expectations.
• Lead requirements gathering sessions and participate in business process analysis and reengineering initiatives.
• Analyze business requirements and map them to standard Dynamics 365 Business Central functionality.
• Identify configuration, customization, integration, and development requirements and translate them into comprehensive functional solutions.
• Design solution frameworks aligned with client business processes and objectives.
• Take ownership of the functional solution and ensure successful implementation across project phases.
• Provide expert guidance across Finance and Supply Chain processes within Dynamics NAV and Business Central.
• Prepare functional specifications, solution documents, process documentation, and other project-related deliverables.
• Support system setup, configuration, data migration, integration, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
• Ensure the latest functional capabilities of Dynamics NAV and Business Central are utilized wherever appropriate to deliver effective client solutions.
• Conduct user training on standard and customized Business Central functionality.
• Communicate project status, risks, issues, and dependencies to multiple levels of the organization.
• Work closely with onshore and offshore teams, internal stakeholders, and third-party implementation partners.
• Support global implementation programs and ensure alignment across geographically distributed teams.
• Act as a trusted client-facing consultant and provide recommendations based on business requirements and solution capabilities.
• Support project delivery by initiating actions, following through on defined solutions, and resolving functional issues.
• Travel to client locations as required to support project delivery and implementation activities.
