Loop AI is seeking an experienced technical leader to own a multi-team platform and drive production-grade design for distributed systems. You will shape architecture across services, defend trade-offs, and stay ahead of failure modes while mentoring engineers.

You will influence engineering culture, hire smart builders, and partner with product and business stakeholders globally to deliver customer value through scalable, AI-enabled pipelines.

Requirements:

• 8+ years building production systems, including several years as the technical owner of a platform used by multiple teams.
• Deep expertise in distributed system architecture. You can design across services, defend the trade-offs, and see the failure mode two quarters ahead.
• A track record of leading design across multiple teams and pulling divergent efforts into a single architecture.
• Hands-on depth in AI agentic systems: model APIs, prompt orchestration, tool-calling, evaluation, and agentic data pipelines. You still write the code.
• Demonstrated influence on engineering culture and hiring: standards you set, loops you designed, and engineers you grew.
• Product-first thinking and 0-to-1 experience. You work with product and business stakeholders across functions and geographies, and you judge your work by what customers get.
