Job summary

Pagaar India is seeking a Staff Engineer to provide technical leadership across backend systems, architecture, and engineering teams. The role focuses on scalable Java/Spring Boot backend development, microservices, and distributed systems in a modern cloud stack.

You will own architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and drive engineering standards while delivering robust REST APIs and efficient database designs using MySQL and PostgreSQL.

Qualifications

• 69 years of software engineering experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Experience in Microservices and REST API development
• Strong knowledge of MySQL and/or PostgreSQL
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging systems
• Working knowledge of AWS or Azure
• Experience mentoring or leading engineers
• Strong understanding of scalable and enterprise-grade backend systems
