Job summary

TJX APAC Home Office Hyderabad is seeking a Staff Engineer in Infrastructure Engineering to design, develop, and enhance server and endpoint platforms across the enterprise. You will drive automation, remote management, and OS configuration with a strong DevOps mindset.

Responsibilities include building scalable infrastructure, troubleshooting escalated issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability, security, and compliance in a global IT context.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Windows Server/Clients.
• Scripting in PowerShell and Python for automation.
• Configuration management with Ansible.
• Infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• Image creation/automation with Packer.
• CI/CD pipelines using GitHub/GitLab/Jenkins.
• Firmware engineering for server and endpoint platforms.
• Experience with DevOps and automation-first approaches.

What you'll do

As a Staff Engineer in Infrastructure Engineering, you will contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of server and endpoint platforms across the enterprise. You'll work on complex engineering initiatives involving firmware, operating systems, automation, and remote management technologies. You'll be expected to proactively support platform improvements, perform deep troubleshooting of escalated issues, and collaborate across teams to deliver scalable and secure infrastructure solutions.

We're looking for a hands-on engineer with a strong DevOps mindset who understands the full stack of Wintel technologies and is passionate about building reliable, automated systems-not just supporting them.

• Engineer solutions for server and endpoint platforms, including firmware lifecycle, remote management, and OS configuration
• Develop automation and tooling using PowerShell and Python, leveraging version control systems like GitHub
• Build and maintain infrastructure automation using tools such as Ansible and Terraform
• Contribute to integration and policy enforcement using Microsoft Active Directory
• Perform deep troubleshooting of escalated issues across hardware, firmware, and operating systems
• Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to ensure platform reliability, scalability, and compliance
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to design decisions
• Support onboarding and knowledge sharing across the team
• Ensure work aligns with enterprise standards, security policies, CI/CD practices, and operational excellence
• Contribute to and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub/GitLab , Jenkins
