Job summary

HMH is seeking an experienced Staff DevOps Engineer to lead platform engineering and scalable cloud infrastructure. You will drive AI-enhanced automation and improve developer experience across the engineering organization.

You will define technical vision, own architecture decisions for CI/CD, Kubernetes platforms, observability, and cloud governance, while mentoring senior engineers and collaborating with Security, SRE, and Product teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering in Agile environments.
• Expert knowledge of AWS architecture and cloud-native design patterns.
• Strong experience with IaC, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD platforms.
• Proficiency with observability tools (Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus).
• Ability to influence engineering teams and drive architectural decisions.
