Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced Senior Data Architect to lead the design and delivery of scalable cloud data, analytics, and AI/ML solutions. You will shape enterprise data models, standards, and integration patterns, and mentor data engineers and scientists across multiple projects.

Strong experience with GCP/Azure, Snowflake, and SAP S/4HANA is essential. This role offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment in India with collaboration across business and technology

Qualifications

• 8+ years IT experience in data and technology; 5+ years architecting and delivering large-scale cloud data/analytics/AI/ML solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience with GCP and/or Azure.
• Snowflake: data architecture, modeling, performance optimization, integration with cloud/enterprise platforms.
• SAP platforms and data integration; SAP S/4HANA experience desirable.
• 5+ years with Python, SQL, .NET, and Angular; strong software engineering and GitHub-based development practices.
• Experience with Generative AI and Agentic AI; exposure to Kubernetes/OpenShift and Solace desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; excellent communication and stakeholder management across business and technical audiences.
• Ability to evaluate emerging technologies and translate them into scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise architecture and design decisions, establishing robust data models, platform standards, integration patterns, and lifecycle practices while minimizing technical debt.
• Provide deep technical expertise to troubleshoot critical issues and drive innovative, scalable solutions across projects and domains.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, architects, business stakeholders, and technical working groups to define and deliver architecture solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, architecture reviews, and guidance to Data Engineers and Data Scientists, strengthening engineering capability.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver scalable, production-ready cloud data, analytics, AI/ML, and data science solutions to address complex business challenges.
• Lead enterprise architecture and technical design decisions, establishing robust data models, platform standards, integration patterns, and lifecycle practices while minimizing technical debt.
• Provide deep technical expertise to troubleshoot critical issues and drive innovative, scalable solutions across multiple projects and technology domains.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, architects, business stakeholders, and technical working groups to define and deliver effective architecture solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, architecture reviews, and solution guidance to Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Engineers, and Product Owners, strengthening overall engineering capability.

Qualifications & Experience

• 8+ years of IT experience in data and technology, including 5+ years architecting and delivering large-scale cloud data, analytics, and AI/ML solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience with GCP and/or Azure, along with enterprise and on-premises technology platforms.
• Strong experience with Snowflake, including enterprise data architecture, data modeling, performance optimization, and integration with cloud and enterprise platforms.
• Strong experience with SAP platforms and data integration; experience with SAP S/4HANA and leveraging SAP data for enterprise analytics solutions is highly desirable.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with technologies such as Python, SQL, .NET, and Angular, along with strong software engineering and GitHub-based development practices.
• Experience with Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions; exposure to distributed technologies such as Kubernetes/OpenShift and Solace is desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills across business and technical audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate and adopt emerging technologies and translate them into scalable solutions that deliver long-term business value.
• Demonstrated Ability To Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while effectively managing multiple priorities.
