The Staff Selection Commission has announced tentative vacancies for Junior Engineer posts in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Electrical & Mechanical and other relevant engineering disciplines. Candidates selected through this recruitment may be appointed in various government departments and organizations such as CPWD, Central Water Commission, Border Roads Organisation, Military Engineer Services and other participating departments.

The Junior Engineer is responsible for assisting in engineering work, site supervision, maintenance, inspection, preparation of estimates, checking technical work and supporting senior officers in government projects. Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality: Candidates must fulfill the nationality conditions prescribed by SSC.
• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have the required Engineering Degree or Diploma in the relevant discipline from a recognized university or institution.
• Civil Engineering: Depending on the department, a Degree in Civil Engineering or a three-year Diploma in Civil Engineering may be required. Some posts also require relevant work experience.
• Electrical Engineering: Candidates may require a Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, depending on the organization.
