Job summary

Wissen Technology is seeking a dynamic SRE/DevOps Engineer to strengthen platform reliability and automate AI-driven workflows. You will join a team focused on SRE BAU operations, CI/CD, monitoring, and observability, applying AI tools to accelerate troubleshooting, code generation, and incident analysis.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), scripting (Python, Bash), and IaC (Terraform, Ansible).

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in SRE or DevOps operations.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps.
• Proficient in Python, Bash, PowerShell or similar scripting languages.
• Familiar with IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, Ansible.
• Experience with cloud platforms AWS/Azure/GCP.

Responsibilities

• Handle SRE BAU operations including incident management, problem resolution, root-cause analysis, and service restoration.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation across environments.
• Drive operational excellence through DevOps practices, infrastructure automation, and system optimization.
• Implement and monitor observability tools (logging, metrics, alerting, dashboards).
• Utilize AI tools to accelerate troubleshooting, documentation, code generation, and incident analysis.
• Improve platform reliability, scalability, and performance through automation.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and security teams to ensure smooth releases.
• Contribute to reducing manual operational work through AI-assisted solutions and scripting.

About the Role

As part of our operational transformation, we are enhancing AI-related skill alignment within our engineering team. We are looking for a dynamic SRE / DevOps Engineer who has strong adaptability and hands-on experience in SRE BAU Operations, CI/CD, DevOps, Monitoring, and AI-driven automation. This role will play a key part in strengthening platform reliability while leveraging modern AI tools such as CursorAI, Generative AI models, and automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle SRE BAU (Business-As-Usual) operations including incident management, problem resolution, root-cause analysis, and service restoration.
• Manage and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation across environments.
• Drive operational excellence through DevOps practices, infrastructure automation, and system optimization.
• Implement and monitor observability tools (logging, metrics, alerting, dashboards).
• Utilize AI tools (CursorAI, Generative AI, automation copilots) to accelerate troubleshooting, documentation, code generation, and incident analysis.
• Improve platform reliability, scalability, and performance through automation and proactive monitoring.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and security teams to ensure smooth releases and secure infrastructure.
• Contribute to reducing manual operational work through AI-assisted solutions and scripting.

Required Skills & Experience

Core Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with SRE or DevOps operations
• Expertise in CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.)
• Experience in monitoring & observability (Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, ELK, Datadog, New Relic, etc.)
• Good understanding of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)

AI & Automation

• Practical usage of AI tools in daily engineering workflows (CursorAI, ChatGPT, GenAI, automation assistants)
• Ability to identify repetitive tasks and automate them using AI or scripting
• Familiarity with AI-driven troubleshooting and documentation tools

Scripting & Automation

• Proficiency in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, Ansible (preferred but not mandatory)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in supporting production environments with on-call rotations
• Understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of system performance tuning and capacity planning
• Experience integrating AI into operational workflowsor automation pipelines
