Job summary

HPC Industrial powered by Clean Harbors is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer with expertise in developing automation test strategies and frameworks. The ideal candidate should have over 6 years of experience with Selenium and other automation tools, and be able to manage testing processes from initiation to review.

This role requires participation in QA processes, mentoring team members, and handling automation for various technologies. It is based in Hyderabad with an office working environment.

Qualifications

Job description

Job Title: Senior Test Automation Engineer

Experience: 6 to 10 years

Location: Hyderabad – Work From office

Working Hours: 12:00pm – 9.00pm IST

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Automation Test strategy and Frameworks based on the Automation tools & requirements
• Good understanding of QA processes and the software development lifecycle (SDLC) including Agile and DevOps practices
• Ability to analyze complex systems and identify potential issues early in the development process
• Review, analyze and document test results and metrics with recommendations to the Leadership and required teams
• Responsible for producing the overall Test delivery plan and defining the business test deliverable milestones, test tasks and activities while determining whether automation tools can be utilized
• Manage a large testing capability, resources and testing process from project initiation to post implementation review and extended wellness
• Participating in preparation of Quality assessments, reports, and metrics formulating go-no go statement based on reports and metrics, test progress and defect status
• Manage and maintain automation test environments and infrastructure
• Train and mentor team members on Automation testing best practices and techniques
• Develop Test Executions Pipelines using any of the DevOps tools
• Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in automation testing
• Work with QA Engineers to identify test scenarios, data requirements, functionality, and areas of application and system level risk

Qualifications

• Min 5+ Years exp in Automation using Selenium.
• Experience in Automation testing technologies like Selenium, UFT, APPIUM tools.
• Experience in BDD-Cucumber Test Automation Framework development and implementation.
• Experience in DevOps - Pipelines for Automation Test Executions.
• Hand‑on on recording, updating, executing and writing automation test tools/scripts.
• Automation testing for Web, API, Mobile technologies.
• Able to integrate SQL queries into ATC and perform test data setup.
