Job summary

Dexcom Bengaluru is seeking a Documentation Specialist for security and privacy requirements. You will craft technical and non-technical overviews, coordinate with cyber architects and product teams, and develop data-flow diagrams to support architecture decisions.

You will ensure clear, grammatically correct deliverables and maintain consistent content flow while aligning with SDLC and risk assessment practices. This role emphasizes precision, collaboration, and timely documentation delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5–8 years of related experience.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Visio and Lucidchart.
• Experience documenting security and privacy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and manage documents detailing security and privacy requirements for internal/external teams, auditors, and regulators.
• Coordinate with cyber architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to ensure documentation completeness.
• Develop data-flow diagrams with engineers to illustrate proposed designs.
• Write overview descriptions of components and services for stakeholders.
• Ensure deliverables have clear content flow and correct grammar and spelling.

Meet The Team

Dexcom is a high-growth, fast-paced environment where you work with leading-edge, software teams to ensure the security of modern diabetes medical device systems. You will work alongside highly skilled and passionate cybersecurity professionals who know how to deliver exceptional results while also having some fun along the way. For this role, you would be joining Dexcom's Research and Development Cybersecurity team to help design and implement new applications and features for Dexcom's medical device platforms.

Where You Come In

• You will be responsible for creating, updating, and managing the documents detailing the technical implementation of security and privacy requirements for internal and external development teams; internal and external auditors; and regulatory bodies or customers requiring disclosure of our practices.
• You manage coordination with Cyber architects, product owners, and other cross-functional teams to ensure the completion of the documents.
• You will develop technical data-flow diagrams in conjunction with peer technical writers and engineering leads to achieve a shared understanding of proposed architectural designs.
• You will be responsible for writing technical and non-technical overview descriptions of components and services that provide stakeholders with a summary of system architecture and other program decisions.
• Ensure all deliverables maintain a simple, succinct content flow with correct grammar and spelling.
• You manage coordination with Cyber stakeholders, including development teams, to understand their documentation needs from our team and ensure the documentation is of an appropriate level of thoroughness.

What Makes You Successful

• You have solid proficiency in MS Word (including Styles and Template development), Excel, Visio and Lucid Chart
• You are a results-oriented, self-disciplined, fast-paced, motivated individual that requires minimal supervision
• You are proactive and employ efficient research practices to quickly understand program complexity and elevate risks and roadblocks accurately
• You exhibit excellent project management skills to effectively organize and prioritize tasks among multiple projects
• You like to collaborate with various subject matter experts from Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, Verification & Validation, Document Control, and Program Management
• You demonstrate excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality, consistency, and accuracy
• You are familiar with SDLC and DDLC model, threat modeling, and risk assessments
• You possess the skill to handle pressure and meet multiple deadlines while prioritizing them. You can learn new processes quickly in a rapidly developing environment. Additionally, you have a strong analytical and technical aptitude, allowing you to understand complex processes and concepts.
