You will own delivery of scalable, production-ready solutions that influence catalog quality, inventory, and cost optimization, coordinating with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to mitigate risks and drive measurable business impact.
Drive transformative technical programs that solve complex retail challenges by bridging science, data engineering, and business operations at Amazon scale. You'll own end-to-end delivery of ML/AI-powered solutions that impact billions in gross merchandise sales and hundreds of millions of customers worldwide, while collaborating with Applied Science, Data Engineering, Finance, and Retail leadership across the organization.
As a Senior Technical Program Manager in Retail Business Services, you'll navigate the intersection of machine learning innovation and retail operations. Your day might include facilitating a design discussion with our Applied Science team to evaluate trade-offs in a new catalog enrichment model, then pivoting to align cross-functional stakeholders on data pipeline architecture for supply chain defect elimination. You'll translate complex technical requirements into clear specifications, work with Data Engineering to ensure models are production-ready, and build measurement frameworks that quantify business impact. You'll also prepare executive narratives for leadership forums, manage competing priorities across multiple retail organizations, and identify risks early to keep large-scale programs on track. Throughout it all, you're solving problems that directly affect how millions of products are discovered and purchased by customers globally.
We are a team of technical leaders and builders focused on scaling Amazon's retail operations through intelligent automation. Our mission is to ensure that Amazon's catalog is complete, correct, and comprehensive- enabling customers to find exactly what they need every time. We work at the intersection of science, data, and retail business, tackling challenges that span catalog quality, inventory optimization, cost allocation, and supply chain efficiency.
Our team collaborates closely with Applied Science, Data Engineering, Finance, Operations, and Retail organizations worldwide. We operate with visibility into senior leadership forums, giving us the opportunity to influence strategy at the highest levels. We're looking for someone who thrives in this complex, multi-stakeholder environment and can translate ambiguous problems into clear technical solutions. If you're energized by working on problems that impact billions of dollars in business value and hundreds of millions of customers, this is the place for you.
