Job summary

Blue Yonder is seeking an experienced technologist to architect and implement a cloud-native SaaS product focused on order management and micro-fulfillment. You will work with architects, platform and product teams to deliver scalable integrations and robust services.

The role requires hands-on technical leadership across Java, C++, Azure cloud, and microservices while mentoring a 60+ person global team. A strong emphasis on security and best practices is essential.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech/MCA with 7 CGPA+ and no backlog in CS/related disciplines.
• Strong software fundamentals and hands-on technical capability.
• Experience with Java/C++ and modern scripting languages.
• Understanding of cloud infra, Azure certification a plus.
• Experience with microservices, data warehousing and data science concepts.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design a ground-up cloud-native SaaS product for Order management and micro-fulfillment.
• Mentor junior and mid-level software associates across global teams.
• Develop integration components between Blue Yonder solutions and client systems.
• Ensure timely communication and issue resolution with stakeholders.
• Uphold security and integrity of corporate assets and IP.

Scope

• Core responsibilities to include Architecting and designing (along with counterparts and distinguished Architects) a ground up cloud native (we use Azure) SaaS product in Order management and micro-fulfillment
• The team currently comprises of 60+ global associates across US, India (COE) and UK and is expected to grow rapidly. The incumbent will need to have leadership qualities to also mentor junior and mid-level software associates in our team

Our Current Technical Environment

• Software: Mulesoft, MB -Active MQ, Java, Springboot, Gradle, GIT, Hibernate, Rest API, OAuth, SnowFlake
• Application Architecture: Scalable, Resilient, event driven, secure multi-tenant Microservices architecture
• Cloud Architecture: MS Azure (ARM templates, AKS, HD insight, Application gateway, Virtue Networks, Event Hub, Azure AD)
• Frameworks/Others: Kubernetes, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Spark, NOSQL, RDBMS, Springboot, Gradle GIT, Ignite

What You’ll Do

• Works with technical architect in developing specifications, analyzing user needs, testing and developing solutions as necessary
• Develops and validates integration components across Blue Yonder Solutions and Client systems
• Works with Team Lead to provide timely, appropriate level of communication with respect to the work assigned.
• Works with appropriate parties to ensure issues are resolved.
• Always conducts oneself in a professional manner with Blue Yonder customers and internal associates.
• Completes assigned work within the allotted time.
• Escalates issues that may negatively impact project timeline.
• Ensures the security and integrity of corporate assets and intellectual property.

What We Are Looking For

• BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech or MCA with 7 CGPA and above without past/active backlogs in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Full understanding of software fundamentals
• High attention to detail

• Creative problem solver
• Knowledge on IT infrastructure.
• OS – Windows, Unix.
• DB – RDBMS Concepts, Oracle, MS SQL Server, SQL/ PL SQL
• Development knowledge in C++, Java.
• Scripting languages – Unix Shell Scripting, PowerShell, Python, Perl etc
• Cloud Infrastructure – Azure cloud, certification in Azure fundamentals (will be added advantage).
• Data Science and Data warehousing knowledge.
