Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in Chennai is seeking an IT professional to manage and support enterprise applications, ERP systems, and business-critical software. You will monitor IT infrastructure, ensure availability, performance, and security, and translate business requirements into effective technology solutions.

You will coordinate with vendors, manage user access, lead testing and deployment, develop documentation, and assist cybersecurity initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support enterprise applications, ERP systems, and business-critical software.
• Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, databases, and cloud environments.
• Ensure system availability, performance, and security through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
• Analyze business requirements and implement technology solutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with vendors and external service providers for system upgrades, troubleshooting, and support.
• Manage user access, role-based permissions, and compliance with IT security policies.
• Lead application testing, deployment, and change management activities.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and user manuals.
• Support cybersecurity initiatives, vulnerability assessments, and compliance requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and training to end users and junior team members.
• Participate in digitalization and automation projects across functions.
