## Mechanical Project Engineer-IApplylocations: Pune Itime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todaytime left to apply: End Date: October 15, 2026 (30+ days left to apply)job requisition id: JR36844### Job TitleMechanical Project Engineer-I### Job DescriptionStructural Detailer - AirportsThe Structural Steelworks Detailer is responsible for preparing accurate 2D/3D steelwork models and fabrication/installation drawings for airport logistics projects.The role supports engineering, bidding, and site teams by converting design requirements into detailed, buildable structural documentation, ensuring compliance with standards, quality guidelines, and project conditions.**Key Responsibilities****Core Responsibilities*** Review and understand project details, constraints, and site conditions* Estimate drafting time for steelwork packages* Perform initial manual take-offs based on preliminary designs* Conduct site surveys for existing civil/structural conditions* Create 3D steelwork models using **Revit** and **Tekla Structures*** Produce 2D layouts and shop drawings using **AutoCAD*** Plan and coordinate detailing activities with internal/external stakeholders* Generate fabrication and installation documents from 3D/2D models* Perform final quantity take-offs using the latest models* Provide efficient solutions for design changes with minimal time/cost impact* Ensure adherence to quality processes, standards, and guidelines* Support assessment of claims and variation orders* Comply with HSE, security, environmental, and quality requirements**Deliverables*** 3D structural models (Revit / Tekla)* 2D layouts, general arrangement drawings, and shop drawings* Fabrication and installation documentation* Quantity take-off reports (initial and final)* Updated drawings for modifications and site requirements* Site survey reports and as-built updates* Support documents for claims/variations**Consulted In*** System design and layout development* Integration with mechanical, EM, and civil teams* Installation planning and site coordination* Design change evaluation and optimization* Material flow system considerations (airport baggage/cargo systems)* Quality and safety reviews related to steelwork**Competencies****Technical Competencies*** Proficiency in **AutoCAD**, **Revit**, **Tekla Structures** (2D/3D steel detailing)* Strong understanding of steel fabrication and installation workflows* Ability to read/interpret structural and architectural drawings* Skilled in quantity take-offs and model-based documentation* Familiarity with airport logistics or material flow systems (advantage)**Soft Skills*** Strong communication skills in English* Analytical and proactive problem-solving abilities* Structured, methodical, and detail-oriented* Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment* Team player with the capability to work independently* Knowledge-sharing mindset and willingness to mentor* Flexibility and readiness for domestic and international travel**Qualifications*** Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering* Minimum 3 years of experience in steelwork detailing and drafting* Proficient in MS Office (Word/Excel)### About Us**Aspire.
