Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a junior statistical programmer to support the development and maintenance of programs and documentation for internal and external clients. You will work under the programming lead to create project-related statistical programming solutions.

Responsibilities include producing datasets to industry standards, attending project team meetings, and creating documentation such as annotated CRFs and specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in maths, CS, statistics or related field.
• Typically 6 months of relevant experience.
• Broad knowledge of operational systems and practices.

Job Overview
Provide programming support to develop and maintain programs and documentation to meet internal and external clients’ needs. Assist with the development of project-related statistical programming solutions under the direction of the programming lead.

Essential Functions

• Completes, and reviews, assignments on time.
• Clearly follow instructions of project lead in the execution of project assignments.
• Seeks assistance and guidance when needed. Reviews own work for accuracy.
• Programs datasets to industry standards, with mentor/manager support.;
• Attends internal project team meetings.
• Accountable for speaking up if a task takes longer than expected to complete.
• Provides timely progress updates to team lead.
• Supports colleagues as requested.;
• Awareness and utilization of technology offerings (Biostistical Tools) rolled out by the Global business unit.;
• Programs tables, listings and figures, checks output for format and content, and questions specification as needed.
• Ensures consistency across TLFs.;
• Create and review documentation as requested, including but not limited to, annotated CRF’s and specifications.;
• Identifies risks to project delivery and/or quality to team lead.
