Jobgether in India seeks a Sr Staff Data & Information Architect to lead Oracle EBS database architecture, reliability, security, and lifecycle management on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure for global ERP users. Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or STEM field; 15+ years in architecture/IT.
• At least 7 years as an Oracle Applications DBA supporting enterprise E-Business Suite platforms.
• 5+ years leading Oracle DBA teams or projects in large ERP settings.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS 12.2.x, including install/config, patching, backup/recovery, cloning.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, HA/DR, archiving and reorgs.
• Proficiency in Fusion Middleware 12/14 for EBS/APEX/Demantra environments.
• Familiarity with IDCS, encryption, SFTP, and related integrations.
• Unix shell scripting and PL/SQL for DB/app management and performance tuning.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr Staff Data & Information Architect based in India.

As a Senior Staff Data & Information Architect, you will lead the architecture, reliability, security, performance, and lifecycle management of enterprise Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) database platforms. You will oversee database administration services supporting critical ERP environments hosted on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and used by global teams around the clock. Working closely with application operations, product development, and infrastructure teams, you will ensure high availability, operational efficiency, and cost-effective service delivery. You will drive enterprise data governance, strengthen security practices, and establish robust processes for incident and issue management. The role also involves leading and mentoring a specialist DBA team, promoting automation, and simplifying complex operations. Accountabilities:

• Enterprise Architecture & Strategy: Own the architecture, performance, reliability, security, and lifecycle management of Oracle EBS database platforms, ensuring alignment with enterprise technology and business objectives.

• Database Operations & Service Delivery: Lead DBA support for business-critical ERP environments hosted on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, ensuring high availability and reliable 24/7 support for global operations.

• Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead and mentor the Oracle EBS DBA vendor team while partnering with application operations, product development, infrastructure, and digital IT leadership to deliver effective technology services.

• Data Governance & Issue Management: Establish and maintain data governance frameworks, operational processes, and issue management practices to improve consistency, accountability, and service quality.

• Performance & Reliability Optimization: Drive database performance tuning, infrastructure optimization, proactive maintenance, and operational improvements to maximize system availability and efficiency.

• Automation & Digital Transformation: Identify opportunities to automate repetitive activities, simplify workflows, reduce operational cycle times, and accelerate the deployment of digital technology solutions.

• Technical Lifecycle Management: Oversee installations, configurations, patching, upgrades, backups, restores, cloning, security updates, and ongoing maintenance of Oracle EBS environments and associated technology stacks.

• Cross-Functional Program Management: Coordinate with stakeholders and leadership to track delivery milestones, review progress, manage priorities, and ensure projects meet agreed timelines and functional requirements.

• Technology Innovation: Monitor emerging technologies and industry best practices, assess their business value, and recommend improvements to enterprise data, analytics, and technology capabilities.

• Financial & Resource Management: Contribute to budget planning, financial forecasting, and resource management while ensuring infrastructure investments deliver sustainable long-term business benefits.

Requirements:

• Education & Professional Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a STEM-related discipline, with at least 15 years of professional experience in architecture, software, information technology, or a related technical field.

• Oracle EBS Expertise: At least 7 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Applications DBA supporting infrastructure, databases, and technology stack components for enterprise E-Business Suite platforms in a large global organization.

• Leadership Experience: At least 5 years of experience leading Oracle DBA support teams or projects involving large-scale Oracle ERP environments.

• Oracle EBS Administration: Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS 12.2.3 or later, including installation, configuration, Applications DBA, system administration, patching, PSU/CPU updates, backup and recovery, cloning, Autonomous Database, and next-generation EBS technology stacks.

• Oracle Cloud & High Availability: Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle EBS Maximum Availability Architecture, database archiving and reorganization, and enterprise availability and disaster recovery practices.

• Middleware & Web Technologies: Expertise in Fusion Middleware 12 and 14, including installation, maintenance, and administration for EBS, APEX, IDCS Asserter, ECC, and Demantra environments.

• Integration & Security: Familiarity with Oracle IDCS, Fusion Middleware integrations, DNS configuration, Java certificates, encryption keys, SFTP, and integrations involving AppWorx, PPM, PVCS, and Oracle Application Express.

• Scripting & Performance Optimization: Proficiency in Unix shell scripting and PL/SQL for database and application management, backup and recovery, cloning, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

• Application Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Experience managing custom applications, including installations, configuration, issue analysis, problem resolution, and ongoing operational support.

• Business & Stakeholder Management: Ability to translate business challenges into effective technology solutions, establish credibility with executives and technical teams, and influence stakeholders across organizational levels.

• Process & Delivery Excellence: Understanding of change management in large IT environments, familiarity with iterative development methodologies, and the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.
